LawMate is a privately developed and operated application. LawMate is NOT a government agency and is NOT affiliated with, does NOT represent, and is NOT authorized by any Vietnamese government body. The Application is not an official channel for publishing legal normative documents.
Content in the Application, including AI-generated content, is provided for reference only. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully before using the LawMate application ("Application"). By accessing or using the Application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.
1. Purpose and Scope of Data Collection
- Account identification upon registration/login: email, phone number (if provided);
- Device telemetry: Device ID, operating system version, application build, advertising identifier;
- Usage telemetry: Search logs, AI assistant query records, user preferences and bookmarks.
2. Purpose and Legal Basis for Processing
- Account verification, user authentication, and preference retention;
- Maintenance, operation, security, and quality improvement of services;
- Displaying and measuring advertising performance;
- Processing is conducted with your explicit consent and/or to fulfill requested services per Law No. 91/2025/QH15.
3. User Consent
Personal data is processed solely with your explicit, voluntary consent. You reserve the right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal.
4. Data Retention Period
Telemetry and personal data are retained for the duration of active service usage and a reasonable period thereafter as required by law, after which data is securely erased or anonymized.
5. Data Sharing and Non-Disclosure
LawMate does not sell or trade personal data for commercial gain. Data may only be shared with binding security agreements to: (i) technical infrastructure providers (cloud storage, AI engine, analytics, advertising partners); (ii) competent state authorities when legally mandated.
6. Cross-Border Data Transfer
Any international data transmission for server hosting or analytics complies fully with cross-border data transfer impact assessments under Law No. 91/2025/QH15.
7. Data Subject Rights
Under Vietnamese Personal Data Protection Law, you hold full rights to inspect, access, rectify, restrict, or request erasure of your data, or withdraw consent by contacting [email protected].
8. Protection of Children's Data
Processing data of users under 16 years of age requires prior consent from a parent or legal guardian in accordance with statutory regulations.
9. Security Measures
We deploy organizational and technical measures to protect user data against unauthorized access or data breaches. Any security incident will be reported to authorities and impacted users per statutory requirements.
